Animal Crossing: New Horizons is shaping up to be the biggest Animal Crossing game yet. It’s so big, in fact, that it’ll take some pretty creative ideas to stay ahead of the game. In this article, I’ll talk about a few of those ideas, inspired by real-life places, including the Animal Crossing world itself. Let’s get started!
1/10. ACNH Coco Día de Los Muertos Display
As tempting as it is to go on a dark, nostalgic trip through your childhood with a movie marathon of Disney’s ‘The Little Mermaid,’ I don’t recommend it. You’ll be sadder for the wear and won’t want to invest in this awesome Coco-inspired display. A few gigs of snowflakes is all you need to craft this colorful frozen pillar.
2/10. ACNH Andy Bedroom
You have to see it to believe it. The entire bedroom is blue, with a custom-painted wallpaper complete with Toy Story-inspired clouds and Andy’s name. This brings your creativity and love for Toy Story and Pixar even further. Oh, and if you’ve been wanting to recreate the iconic scene where Woody is stuck in the room? Well — here’s your chance!
3/10. ACNH Alice Wonderland Area
The Jungle Book is a classic. Who knew you could find so many DIYs doing The Jungle Book in a variety of interesting ways? Here are 10 especially great scenes for you to recreate. First, it’s important to choose the right setting. You’ll want to design an enclosure that suits your needs, and add some lush plants. Then, craft the Bollywood-style lanterns, or some hanging bats or monkeys — whatever will best suit the scene!
4/10. ACNH Wall-E Custom Junkyard
When I was a kid, I was blown away by the movie Wall-E . How great would it be to live in a world with no one around? How relaxing it must be to have all the space you could ever want. There’s one thing missing from this movie, however. Why doesn’t Wall-E have any friends? That’s where this product comes in! It allows you to recreate several of Wall-E’s pals.
5/10. ACNH Disneyland Main Street
Inspired by the incredible recreation of Disneyland’s Main Street, USA, and its old-world ambiance, this float is one that any Disney fan would die for. Though it appears to be a work of fiction, this float was designed using inspiration from the Disneyland Main Street Christmas Parade, and is actually all sorts of realistic. If you like Disney and you like Christmas, or if you just like floats in general, you’ll love this craft!
6/10. ACNH Cake Pop Shop Disney
Someone has created a pop-up cake shop right in front of the Fairgrounds gate! However, this “Cake Pops by Lumi” shop is not officially affiliated with Lumbridge at all. In fact, it is owned by the same person that owns the popular apparel shop next door: Nishi. Nishi says that they will be “officially” opening tomorrow!
7/10. ACNH Reflection Mulan Pond
Now here’s another awesome creation from the ACNH community! MKgreeen and Jorim, your hard work has paid off — your version of the ‘Reflection’ scene is spectacular. And with the 1.9.0 update, you can use this fabulous expansion pack to bring Disney’s ‘Mulan’ right into your home—and sing along with Mulan!
8/10. ACNH Inspired Hercules Room
Remember that time you saw that awesome wallpaper in your friend’s house and had to have it? Now you can have the same look in your very own home. A fun and easy way to decorate any room, Above-the-Clouds wallpaper is a must-have for any kid who wants a space full of gods and goddesses.
9/10. ACNH Princess Park Standees
Here’s a fun idea you can add to your Animal Crossing island. This is because recently, Nintendo added one of the most iconic Disney Princess to the lineup: Jasmine. As you know, she’s as lovely as can be. Now that you have her in Animal Crossing, what are you going to do with her? You’re going to turn her into an amusement park standee! And this is just the beginning.
10/10. ACNH Toyland Toy Story
The movie that put Pixar on the map, as well as one of the movies that will forever live in every 90’s kid’s imagination. This design is a tribute to the immortal Toy Story, a movie that will always stand out in our hearts and minds.
